Adventures, the sun and parents in town

I have been planning to write many times these past few days but been putting it off because my c-key won't still work and it is annoying as hell. Anyhow past weeks have been pretty much busy with just school work.

Here is some high light:

Bought posters for my room
Two weeks ago poster company filled out hall with awesome looking posters, I couldn't help myself but buy couple to my room aswell and they are awesome.

The best things happens when you are not planning to go out
This is so true! Our plan was just to go out for dinner in best restaurant scored by Tripadviser. It was a Falafel place and I got to say it was delicious. After dinner we went for a beer up to Skytower to admire beautiful night view over Ljubljana and then off to home. Or did we? On our way to busstop we got distracted with some really good House music and me and Phillipp(Austria) decided to go check it out. One of the best choises of the week. The place was called Evrope and it was in a inner yard. Hanging out dancing and meeting new people. We met the manager of the party who organized the DJ's and one local DJ who was originally from Amsterdam. The manager put our named to guest list for K4. We went there really early(after 11) and there was only 4 of us, me and Phillipp included. No biggie, bought a beer and to the dance floor. After one hour we had to start heading home simce Phillipp and classes at 8 on the morning so we left. Or did we? At the door we ran into the manager and the Dj so course we had to stay there for another beer.

Beautiful weather!
Ljubljana is treating my too well! This Fall has been unusually warm(not complaning at all!) and at the end of the week I was on my balkany pretty much wearing only my bikinies. I loved it! Summer all over again. The sun forced my to skip my 5pm International Business class and go to Tivoli Park with Julia and play some Uno. It was perfect. The next day we did the same but made more people to join us. The day was perfect again! Everyone got pissed of with my Finnish Uno rules, it was a never ending game. We also made a new Slovenian friend: 2-year old kiddou who ran a way from his parents and came to entertane us by messing with our game.

Parents in Slovenia
My folks came to Ljubljana for 5 day holiday and they loved Slovenia! First could days we stayed in Ljubljana and on Sunday we trevelled souther part of Slovenia by car and went to see Lipica hourses and Piran. Piran was absolutely beautiful, even tho we spent only less than 2h it impressed me. Very small but a lovely city. Definately going back there for a proper day trip.
It was great to see my family and show them my new home country. Time went past really quickly but after 5 days I was glad they went home. I was constantly worring over them that they had good time and enought things to do. One of the best things about parents being in town was that we went out for dinner every night in nice restaurants. Nom nom food!

Ofcourse I got some Finnish goodies from my parents! Several bags of candy, Jenkki chewing gum and home made rye bread. Yeeeey!

Metelkova
I'm addicted to this place. It is just the place to be in Ljubljana. Everynight is different and you never know what to expect, who to ran to or who are you going to meet. On the other night when I was talking with some Slovenians and they found out that I'm from Finland, the first thing they said was: do you know the website Apina(Automagic People Image Naked Archive). What?!?! On Friday I went to Metelkova for one beer. I did just drink one beer but ended up being at home at 3am. Don't know what happened. And the next day I got home from Metelkova at 6am. Good on me! So if anyone of you are coming to visit you I will take you to this place.

Life is pretty good here. I'm loving Erasmus.

Trieste-Venice-Verona

A week ago we decided to make a trip to Italy with other erasmus people. First there was just 3 of us and we ended up having 15 excited travellers share a same thought. I can tell, planning a trip with 10 people wasn't fun at first. Other wanted to go on Friday, other Saturday and some wanted to go rafting on Sunday. In the end we had three groups.

  1. Team Friday(the best group ofcourse!) left on Friday and came back on Sunday
  2. Team Saturday who stayed one night in Venice and joined us to Verona the next day
  3. Team day trip to Venice who we met in Venice on Saturday
We rent a car with ATET and I was not driving! I just got my driving licence back and I didn't drive that much last summer so I was terrified with the thought of driving in Italy. Ludi and Patrick(see I know how to write your name!) volunteered to drive. And I was still terrified only sitting in the car! No Phillip I'm not a pussy! The cars were just driving really fast.

Day 1 - Trieste

Our first stop was Trieste, a small city near Slovenian boarded on the coast. It use to be part of old Jugoslavia and most of Slovenian people are gutted its not part of their country. It was a small and beautiful city. We didn't spend too much time there, just walked around and tried to have dinner. We ran to some Italian cultural differences.
First of all the roads were pretty small if you ask me! Not the high way but the other streets. Again scary! Second the parking garage! We found a hotel parking garage right in the center. Since it was owned by a nice hotel we were sure that it was trustwise. Until what happened next: a slightly over weight Italian man greeted us after we had parked the car and gave us our a parking ticket and asked to have our car keys. Everybody freacked about it more or less and Patrick was so sure that Italian Mafia was behind this. We went to the hotel reception to ask about it and they insured us that there was nothing to worrie. The garage closed at 8pm and after that you could get your key from the reception. But it was still weird system! And thirdly whats with that late dinner!? We were so hungry at...don't remember what time but lets say 6pm or so and the kitchen opened at 8pm?? After what seems a long search we finally we found a place which seemed nice enought to have dinner. They didn't offer dinner but they still had their lunch buffee open so at least we got something to eat.

Our jorney continued after that and it got really interesting when we were getting close to our hotel. First we were in a warehouse like area but passed it. Soon after there stared seeing hookers by the road! What is this area?! But no worries it was really good. The hotel looked nice out and inside and seemed to be in nice enought neighbourhood. And hotel was called a Nice Hotel! Sweeet! We were mentally prepared to have a room with couple bunk beds but we got was a small penthouse! Clean, big two bedrooms apartment minus kitchen obviously.

Day 2 - Venice

Our day stared with lovely breakfast in popular cafeteria next our hotel and with my bad karma. After a long deliberation I ended up having a pizza sandwish filled with cheese and ham and hot chocolate(I don't drink coffee). Everybody esle got their food right away but me. Waitres told me to sit down, it was a busy cafeteria. After a while I went ask for my for my order and they told me 1 more minute. Oookey. By the time everyone else were finished eating and I got my food but not my drink because they had ran out of hot chocolate! You didn't want to let me know about it 10 minutes ago?  I got a capuccino just have something hot to drink, but even after two packs of sugar, I still didn't like it. No biggie tho, we were going to see Venice that day!

29€/person/night in 5 ppl bedroom and 15min bus drive(1,8€) away from Venice

Saturday market next to our hotel
Venice was absolutely beautiful! Ofcourse I have seen photos of that place but I still had no idea what to expect. The small narrow allies, canals and everything was just beautiful. Even tho there was a lot of tourist it felt really peacefull. Especially when you just got lost with those small streets. No cars and no bikes, perfect. By accident we happened to bumb in to 'Team day trip to Venice'-group in ome of the small squers. Damn luck! We met up rest of the group near Piazza San Marco. I love Italy, everything is just so beautiful! Old beautiful buildings and and. But the pigeons freacked me out!! They almost attaced us humans! And there was so many of them, crazy.

Since the gondoly drive was way too expencive(29€/person/30min or something like that) we decided to do a more budget friendly trip and catch the riverboat-bus for 7€.

Before our trip I asked my Italian friends if they anyone from Venice and luckily Stan knew Ludovico who studies in Venice. We met up with him and his friend on trainstation. He had planned to take us for a drink for a place what students prefared but they had closed already at 2pm. We found a nice second choice for our drink. The boys didn't join us for dinner but it was nice to catch up with some locals.
Grazie!

Day 3 - Verona

The home town of romantic tale of Romeo and Julia. I had no idea what expect from that city and it turned out to be very beautiful! And so many tourist! That was really suprising. It almost felt like there was more tourist than in Venice. We saw the must see places and the most famous one was ofcourse the balcony of Julia(which may or may not be the balcony) and love wall, and locks. They were really sweet honestly. There was also a stague of Julia and you had to hold her left breast(or was it the right one) because...I do not remember. Something for good luck I guess.

After all that sightseeing everyone were up for lunch which is never easy task to find a good place to find. Patricked had googled the night before top-10 budget restaurants, yey! But try to find a specific restaurant from small and narrow streets of Italy, so hard! We were hunting the restaurant for an hour and when we finally found one, it was closed! Everyone were tired and hungry and we ended up splitting for two groups and by a huge accident and luck my, Patrick, Tina and Franzie found the number #1 budget restaurant! It was amazing. Osteria Solloriva, you stole my heart. The restaurant was full of Italians the hand writen menu was written only in italian and the waitress was super friendly and spoke good english. THE best food I had eaten in that weekend. Especially the small bite I had from Tinas food. Those homemade ravioles makes my mouth wather only by the thought of it.

The rest restaurant

Thank you for Team Friday, you were awesome to travel with you all! Until the next adventures, ciao!

Keep up with your blog lady!

Sorry for not writing for a while. Life feels so intance that you don't find the time to write. And everytime I do start writing it takes hours to post something, such as now.

Anyhow, first day at school...or was it? The school was supposed to start on the 1st of October but this lucky thing didn't actually have any lectures that week. Yey, another week of holiday! Nonetheless I had a great deal of things to do:
  1. Student ID
  2. studentski boni(student meal cupongs)
  3. fix the bike
  4. get more credit on the phone
  5. register on the courses
  6. Sign up for sporst
  7. Slovenian langiage course
I got most of the things done by Monday which was my 'do-things-from-the-list'-day.

And let me tell you one of the best things about being a student in Slovenia/Ljubljana: Studentski Boni. How can I explane this... It is student meal discound which works in many of the restaurants all around Ljubljana and with it you can eat a proper lunch/dinner with only 0,80-5,00€. When I say a proper meal I really mean a proper meal! Usually it includes a soup, salad, main dish and dessert. With less than 5€, its crazy!! Basically its not worth to cook at home at all when you can just dine out with less money. I love it! Ofcourse you can not eat anything from the menu and usually the restaurants have a special menu for students which are in most case really nice. And even if the food wasn't the best meal you have ever had, who cares! You pay ridiculausly little money for it and if it is not good then you know you will never go back there. Brilliant!

I got my studentski boni couple weeks back the day before school started, which was a mistake since all of the students were there get their own ones aswell. I was on the que for an 2,5h on the coldest day so far. Luckily I had my book with me so the time flew by quikly and in the end it wasn't that bad.

Rest of the week went by quikly. I signed up for hourse riding ones in week for 10 times which I am really excited about. I haven't rode a hourse since I was in NZ, so it's been way too long! And it cost only 140€ which is compared to finnish prises really good! The first lesson is on this Friday.

We also had a pub crawl couple weeks back for Erasmus students which was fun ofcourse since there was so many of us but not worth paying 9€. We went 3 different pubs and after that a afterparty at the club Circus. We resived a 3 welcome drinks(which where basecally shots of juice) and free enterence to the club(which is normally 5€). The high light of my night was when I bought belgium fries from the place called 'Surfing fries' which was next to pub Parlament. So it actually had nothing to do with the pub crowl itself. And the Circus(!!)... ou my gosh where to start! First of all, there nothing wrong with the people since there were basecally only exchange student which should have ment a great night out but I just could not stand the club. Inside and outside it looks pretty much like any other club in town, just normal, just a club. The issues firts of all that the drinks were more expencive(still cheapter than in Finland ofcourse) and second, whats up with all thecircus stuff! I understand it was part of the concept but seriously are kidding me? For excample there two drawfs(yes drawfs!) walking and dancing around and entertaning people. I understand that they get paid for what they do but still I felt really...bad about that people making fun of them, taking photos of them/with them and so on. And that wasn't the worst part! There were also these creatures who walking or crawling around and did freacky stuff like this one guy who wore a skin tight pink-yellow-gold-costume what ever and crowled around the club playing with three balls. One point when I was going to the toilet, it started following my and crowled after me almost inside the toilet! Wtf? Leave me the fuck alone! Freak... It was just too much for me, I couldn't take it and I left after 30 minutes. I wasn't drunk enough and the music wasn't that good. BUT I am greatfull that I have now been there and I know what its like and that I don't ever have to go back there. 'The best club in town' yeeea, I don't think so. Thats about that and back to other stuff.

We did a small hiking trip together up to Smarna Gora which was quite fun! It actually felt really good to do something else other than partying and drinking all the time.
Jules(GER), Ramona(GER), me, Ines(GER) and Erna(ICE)

My classes started last week which I was really looking forward(not anymore). No but seriously I felt like a a girl before her first day at school, I wanted to pick up my first day at school outfit and pack my bag and everything! But it's been such a long time since I have been in school which was at the end of April! Thats forever ago!
On first day I realized I really do have to study here... And it does depened on the professor if you like the class or not. For example I toke class called Slovenian Economy: the eastiest class, we don't have a final exam instead we have presentations a asigments which seems to be really. But the lectures are sooo boring! The professor is old, speaks slowely, repeads himself often and its really hard to follow on the class. At least it is the easiest class I have. International Marketing and Marketing Channels: on both of the classes the teachers are great. They are both younger and speak really good english and are constantly connected to us student by asking questions and challenging us to start a conversations on the class. But... we have so much work we have to do. Big presentations and long papers to write. Motivation, you better find me because I'm going to need you! And the last but not least I toke Slovenian language course! Yes, I will never need this language after I leave Slovenia and its pretty useless and waiste of money to learn it but its only for fun! So far it is good and now I can sat Ti si crocodil = this is crocodile, how usefull sentence it is!!

Over all the life is going great here and the people trually make this experience worth this all.

  • Surfing party and free drinks, I propably would have never gona there without knowing Dasha!
  • Douple teqila shots which Nika, it was so your fault girl!
  • Wild-Wednesday-pancakes-party with Sasha, the surffing Dasha pancake was priseless!
  • 'Call me maybe' with Jules my favorite neighbour at Companieros dancefloor
  • 20 minutes monolog at Metelkova, so embarrasing
  • 80% girls are really lesbians, good to know Simi!
  • Thinking about going for beer before language class but end up buying a Felu-pullover with Florian, awesome!
and so more. You have to make the most of the time you have here. Erasmus is such a short period of time that you have.

The most awesome Finnish pancake I have ever made!

I'll try to write soon again since I had a pretty awesome weekend: roadtrip to Italy, Trieste-Venice-Verona. Team Friday and Italian Mafia!

Ps. Bad Karma, leave me alone! My first weekend in Slovenia and our cat peed in my suitcase! YES! And no I hadn't put all of my cloths in the wardrove, which ment laundry Sunday for Ella.
Our little devil

Pps. This is the last thing I'm gonna write but this is important. Only 2 weeks and I get to show my home town for my Tuomas! I can't wait<3

Alpine Fairytale

Alpine Fairytale trip for Erasmus people

Week ago on Saturday we had organized round tour by bus to three locations: national park(I'm sorry I don't remember the name!), Lake Bled and Lake Bohinj. After 2 hours sleep I can tell it wasn't the easiest thing to drag your exhausted body off bed but I did it, skipping the brakfast tho which wasn't the best idea tho. I blame on Karma again tho.

First stop was at the national park god knows where or what the name was but it was beautiful! The wather was clean and clear and the sight was just peacefull. In a way it reminded me of New Zealand. Maybe it was the weather cause it was wet and rainy!;p But so great anyway and it really made me want to go hiking and in nature.

National park
After we had a quick stop at Bled castle we continued our way to lake Bohinj. Since most of us were starving we stopped in a small village(no idea about the name of it. I really should write these thing down!) for lunch place called Strud'e. I was extreamly hungry since I had to skipped the breakfast on the morning due slight hangover... Anyway, I'm horrible at desiding what I want to eat so I just asked the waitress to recomand me something. I was one of the first ones who ordered and THE last one to get it. The food started arriving after 30min or so(the restaurant was really crowded due almost everyone from our bus wanted to dine at the same place) and everyone else got their food but me! The waitress had forgotten my order and on top of that they ran out of sausages which I was supposed to have and had to change to dryed meat. The meat was great so it was alright but it felt horrible to wait when everyone else were already eating. Coralie, a belgium girl, was kind enought to share her dish with me so I could taste those famous slovenian sausages and they were sooooo good! I really like Slovenian food!

Lake Bohinj and a ginger girl
The most delicious cake ever! Cream shnita, a traditional Slovenian cake dessert and especially famously good in Lake Bled. Extreamly soft but so sweet! So anyone who visit Slovenia should definately taste this!

The only island in Slovenia - Lake Bled
The Bled was a beautiful small place, the lake abviously beautiful and worth to see especially when it is a beautiful weather(which it wasn't for us). We also visited Bled castel which was on top of the hill. The view was pretty cool(unfortunatelly quite foggy for us) but other than that there was nothing much to see there and I would say not worth the 8€.

You could go to the island by bout which cost 12e there and back which in my opinion really big price for that! We decided to rent our own rowboat for an hour and rowed to the island. The best idea of the day!
The island was really cute and the church was beautiful. You could go up and ring the big bell and make a wish but that cost 6€(!!!) so we didn't do that.

Messing around with erasmus people on the island
Propabl the best thing about this day was the people whom really are the thing which makes these trips memorable. It is also way better way to get to know people more. So if you go on exchange I encourage you to attend as many trips and things as possible. You will meet great now people and have awesome memories together. Thank you all!

Not a bad start for my time in Ljubljana

Orientation day 1

So our orientation week started on Wednesday! Dasha already told me that the first professor who was speacking was going to be awesome and she so was! Eldery woman with birght curly red hair. She just made me laugh and she really made as feel welcome. I also my mate my tutor Mateja. All of the tutors seem great! Everyone are helpful and ou can really see that they have a great group spirit and they are having fun doing what the are doing. At the end of the day we had 'Learn Slovenian in 90 minutes' and this language is IMPOSSIBLE! It's easy to read but it sounds nothing familiar. I would like to learn in enough to read a menu tho cause not every place have the english one. But pivo is beer! And there is only two real beers in Slovenia and Lasko is the better one. So no worries! But seriously I didn't learn anything! And I haven't decided et if I'm going to go on Slovenian language course. Don't know yet...

Couple more pictures from home: sight from my bedroom window and our kitchen

The high light of the day was the international dinner! I have been in international dinners before in Finland but there was nothing quite this one! The dinner was heald in the inner yeard of the Faculty(and I got there late as usually). Every two countries shared a table and there was a DJ and disco lights! What?!? It was a mean as party! Most of they countries had also brought their national alcohol beverages so basically people went from table to table a drink a shot and got waisted and we kind of forgot the food! I was so in to looking after our table so at first I didn't have time to walk around.

Finnish menu

Rye bread with raindeer
Finnish macaroni casserole

Angry bird lollies
Äsää mix candy
Fazer chocolate

Lapin Kulta beer
Long drink
Carnberry Finlandia vodka
Koskenkorva Salmiakki vodka
Blueberry shots

Finland!

Everybody loved raindeer and blueberry shots! And obviously disliked Salmiakki vodka!
The night was great! Meeting great new people and having a party. Koreans went crazy when the Gangnam style come on! Got to love koreans!
I also tasted the most horrible thing EVER! I still hate Mateja about this! I made my tutor to drink a blueberry shot and a shot of Finlandia and obviously she revanged to me and made drink HALF CUP of some discsting slovenian honey vodka.
Mateja: "This is the traditional Slovenian shot!"
Ella: "You are kidding me, its too much!"
Mateja: "ou have to drink it all at once!"
Ella: "Mateja!! Thats just bulls**t!
Mateja: "Drink it!"
Ella: " F********ck!"
I almost puked! And the worst part was that our international coordinator Alma and our school international relations dean Helena(I think her name was Helena) where right next to me and cracked up! They were laughing so hard! My eyes were all teary and Mateja couldn't stop laughing. I still love you tho girl.
So yea, it was quite a party and it ended 10pm. It felt like midnight tho! We didn't continue our night anywhere tho cause we had school on the next day. And there is not much going on Tuesday nights.

The best international dinner ever!
Awesome portugies

Orientation day 2

I don't know what is wrong with me but I leave everything for the last minute! I knew my school started at 11am and I was still enjoying my morning tea at 10.30am with no hurry at all! Brshed my hair, put some mascara and when I look at the time ---10.58am!!! "I'm gonna be late!" I screamed and run out of the door and Dasha was laughing in her bed. That lucky bastered... Lucky my school is only 5min walk away. But I was actually on time. The latin people were still poaring in when I got to the auditorium.
If yesterdays first speaker was great, this was as good or maybe a little better! Pr. dr. Zarja Fabjancic just made us laugh! He gave us a lecture of 'Milestones of Slovenian history'. Doesn't sound so exciting but he was telling all interesting facts about Slovenian history and the end of the lecture he got so side a tracked that he started only talking about Slovenian bears and tought us if we wanted to go to hike in Slovenian forest just remember this: "You might meet a bear, so never go alone. Always go with someone, who runs slower than you!"
We had also lecture about sport activities that are offered for ecomics students and there is so many!! From tennis to badminton, foodball, swimming, aerobics and GOLF AND HOURSE RIDING! So cooool! And the prices are, again, ridiculously cheap! 20-30€(the whole semester) everything else but golf and hourse riding which are 100€ one semester. I'm so gonna do it! I haven't done hourse riding since I was a little girl.

This is the day when karma started hitting me bad! Later the evening there was a organized bike tour around Ljubljana at 5pm. At 4.30pm I was still happy at home reading a book or what ever. At 20min to I was starting to head to center and I had to get my bike from garage. So, I ran downstear and try to open the door with my key. It didn't open. I knew I had the right key cause Dasha just gave it to me. I twisted right, twisted left, pushed, pulled, EVERYTHING! I got fustrated, I was already late, called Dasha for help, which she didn't like cause she was all comfortable in her pyjamas in her bed and now she had to come down 6 stears and go back up. And the door opened for her for the first time. So unfair! Anyways, I toke my bike and start driving to center as a maniac. On my way I realized my brakes don't work well and almost got hit by a car and a person. Then I realized my front wheel was empty. For f**k sake is everything going to go wrong. YES, cause then I realized that I didn't actually know where the meeting point actually was! I had no idea! Well yea I did have couple ideas, ether it was gonna start from the main squer where there is a pink church or the other squer where the Univesity of Ljubljana was. The time was about 5pm already. Drove to the first squer first, lots of people but I didn't see any Erasmus people or people with bikes. Drove to the other squer, definately not the meeting point. So I got there late so no tour for Ella! My first thought was: f**k that, I'll just buy a bottel of wine and go home. But then I thought, I got through too many trouble to get here so I'm just gonna make most of it on my own! So thats what I did, picked a random destination and started biking(without the map ofcourse) and I had so much fun my own. Found some really cool random places and went to almost all the same places where you would have gona with the tour. Only down side was that I didn't hear all the interesting history about those places.

Yea it looks pretty much as Turku! No difference at all ;)

Can't wait to Tuomas to get here cause I have ALWAYS wanted to have a love luck. So romantic! And the best thing is that I get to do it in my new home town! Yey, happy happy joy joy.

The famous dragon of Ljubljana

On my way home I did actually stop on Marceto to buy bottle of wine and it was less that 3€. 1 LITRE bottle of Slovenian white wine. Can this country get any better?
We had the first official Erasmus party tonight at club called Companeros. I was planning to go to some preparty heald at the dorm but we ended up just drinking wine with Dasha and Sasha at our balcony and her friend Brian joined us later. These people are just awesome! We ended up going to the club around 1am and we had a blast! The club was packed, music was a little too loud and there was too many people and I drank too many shots. And there would not any problem BUT we had a trip next morning at 8.30. Obviously I didn't care cause I was mood for dancing and partied until who knows how long! And I don't actually remember when I got home. But the next morning Tuomas told me that I called him and fell a sleep on tho phone. Good one!

My sweet roommates! Sasha and Dasha

Friday

Guess who didn't make it to the trip on the morning? I didn't!! It was so baaaad tho and I was really sad about it cause I really wanted to go. I didn't wake up for m alarm at 7.45 but I woke up an hours later which was already too late. There was all these cool thing they did tho! They went to the coust of Slovenia Piran and to the caves and this castle and everything! Who misses a trip like that. And the worst part was that it was my birthday aswell!! Karmaaaa why do you hate me. So I had the hangover birthday. I couldn't eat, I couldn't sleep, I felt sick and thursty, full and hungry all the same time. Dasha went to Mercato to buy some chips for me, angel. Sasha came later to my room:
"So Ella, the thing is, ou are not allowed to come to the kitchen at least in 30min so if you need to get something do it now!"
I love those girls!
Later, when the life started to come back to m body we celebrated my birthday together with Sasha and Dasha and her friends Nika, Ursa and Brian. Sasha and Dasha had made me a cake 23 candels and bought me pink roses, awwwws so cute! I also got my first letter from Tuomas whicha was homemade card with all lovely stuff in it. I love you honey!

Nutella cream berry cake, yaaaaam!

More wine and great company. We went out to the coolest place ever called Metelkova. Its hard to explane but it is located on forlmer military barrecks and sity consists of I think seven building or something. There is a art gallery, bars and clubs, live music like jazz, rock, heavy metal, dub and techno. And right next to Metelkova there is a hostel which is a old prison. Maybe that is the place where the horror movie hostel got the inspiration from!
But yea it was awesome! We were supposed to go to a different club but we end up going to Tiffanies which is a gay club and the night was almost better than the previous night! We got home around 5.30 or something and had to get burek on our way home. It was a bad idea to get home so late tho cause I had a nother trip on Saturday also starting on 8.30. I wasn't gonna miss that one and I didn't! Yey, good on me!

So that was that, my first week in Slovenia! I'll try to keep up with my phase and write about my weekend adventures soon as possible. My bad karma didn't leave me alone in Saturday tho! But thats for the next time!
